I'm freezing!
The first session for my tattoo is done and OF COURSE there was no problem what so ever! I was worried for absolutely nothing!!
...well. There was that one time I unintentionally made a noise, like a bored moan kind of, and Hasse lifted the needle off of me immediately:
"How are you feeling?"
"Nah, I'm good." I answer without moving a muscle, waiting for him to continue. Instead he's placing his hand on my upper arm - at that moment I have no idea he's checking my temprature and to see if I'm shaking - and follows with putting the needle away.
"Time for a break. Have some of that energy drink you brought." He says and I'm just about to complain when a massive wave of dizzyness hits me!
Yeah... apparantly pain causes adrenaline as well as massive drop in your blood sugar. And when I think one more moment about this, I realize that I already knew this and that was why I brought the giant bag of candy as well as a chicken salad AND an energydrink!
So, after that everything went just fantastic. It's good that I remembered to bring a book! Just sitting there and thinking about the pain all. the. time. must be so exhausting. And it took us three hours agreeing on the sketch this time which only left three hours to ink it down on me. We finished the outline today and decided on what pattern the snakes will have. But just wait until next time... He said he'll paint a lot on me then to get all the scales as he want them, but I still think we'll sit for at least four hours then. And when it comes to shadowing some session after that he said "it was good we'll have the whole six hours to work with then. We'll get far in that time." Yeeaaaah, it'll be fine.
I've also been told that the outline (which is what we spent our time with today) is the least painful one. Filling everything in should be a hell of a lot more painful. ...it's been far too long since my last tattoo, but I think I remember that to be true. Oh joy. Looking forward to the next wave of self mutilation... *read with sarcasm*
Pictures will be up, but currently I am wrapped in plastic foil that will stay on until tomorrow.
Alright. That's my short update on my new tattoo on my back, but I will write no more as I recently shocked my body and it is slowly shutting down a few comfort settings such as heat and brain functions.
Seriously, it's frigging cold everywhere!! And I realized just before dinner that I had stood talking for about five minutes with my boyfriend about the book I read during the inking, but only said words that rarely connected to complete sentences. Not to mention that it didn't describe ANYTHING from the story plot. o.Ó ...which just shows for what an attentive boyfriend I've got.
Not to mention my back is leaking. You have to have a tattoo on your back to properly understand how incredibly uncomfortable it is to have all that sticky fluid mixed with blood to slooowly run down your spine, even with the plastic covering it!
Enough ramble!
Good night!
(Oh! And I remembered socks and my feet kept warm just fine! ^^)

Sore... from the spine to the heart.
Alright... It was just as I had predicted. My session was double booked. He is having the gig on the 4th and they just called me to ask if we could reschedule. :( Great. I'll just have it done the Monday after instead, on the 8th... Now we've got this shit about me resting my back after the tattoo sessions to take care of!!
Just called my boss and we managed to fix a substitute for one of my jobs that Tuesday. The other job... well, she prefers it if I can take it on Wendsday instead. So two days after my next tattoo will be HELL. -_-
I liked having these giant tattoos on Thursdays! I just took the Friday off from work and suddenly I had FO
IT'S ALIIVE!
...a lot more so now than before. :) Of course I'm talking about my ongoing tattoo!
Actually I completely forgot I had this journal on my to do list until just a few hours ago when I sat on the tram heading into town. I might have to add that I also was a lot more relaxed this time around!
So... Hasse filled up one of my snakes with it's pattern. It's like a Boa Constrictor, which happens to be my favourite snake. Actually both snakes have the same head shape as a Constrictor, but the other one will have the pattern of a Diamondback Rattlesnake. I like the pattern and Hasse was like a kid in a candy store when he suggested it... because the
Nerves to tattoo!!
I. Am. Freaking. Out.
Tomorrow I'm having my third tattoo done. It's gonna be big. Really big. Like all-over-my-back-big. And this will be the first session of five planned ones. The guy making it said it's likely to take yet a few more sessions. ...should I worry?
Well, I am.
My first tattoo was in the neck. (I think I'll take a picture of each and upload some time later this week.) It's two snakes and even though the guy who made it kind of messed up my skin a bit by putting too much pressure on it, I'm really satisfied with the motive. I made it in january or february 2007 (or was it 2006??)
My second one is on the right foot. Spring
